I never could die

One hundred reasons why

I never could ask you again
water passes between us
floats by
saturates all
submerges my will


I forgot them all
the long gone forever
lost in this sea
I use to call forgetfulness

    It's beautiful and touching.

    Alzheimer's is unforgiving and heartbreaking. I'm with you in hopes a cure is found soon.
